My favorite part about working from home is that I can focus entirely on my job as part of my job. I don’t have to worry about the commute or whatever else life throws my way (I’m not complaining). My clients get to work with me and I can focus on everything else.
This is important to a lot of people, not just because of the time it saves but because it puts you out of harm’s way. If you work in a very competitive field full of turnover, it can put you in a position where you have to deal with people who are constantly changing jobs. That can be stressful.
For most people, it’s not the work that makes the biggest difference to them, it’s the people they get to work with. That can include family and friends or coworkers from other companies. It’s hard to know exactly what will make someone you work with more productive.
One of the more common factors that causes turnover is the changing job roles. This happens a lot to people who are in the military or teaching for a living. They can be forced to change what they do to keep up with the constant shifting of roles and responsibilities.
I’m not sure what the big differences are between the military and teaching, but I do know that the ones I had to step up to when they changed jobs were the ones in the military. I’m sure there are others among us that were able to take on new jobs.
I think that if you are a student or a teacher you have to be able to handle this change. Military and teaching both require a lot of change and transition. It’s not like working in a factory where you can just learn any new skill by reading about it in a book. In this case the skills you learn are being taught to you by someone else and you have to learn to transfer them to a different job.
I would think that it would be best if someone could choose what to learn. I am not saying that a person can not take on new jobs. In fact I am saying that a person should not be limited to just one job.
I suppose the problem is that for some people the idea of going from their home office to a new one sounds like a recipe for disaster. I know several people who have had to transfer their whole life to a new job because they couldn’t handle the change. Not to mention the fact that for some people, like teachers and nurses, the idea of working from home is not a career option.
How about if you want your job to be a whole new job? I have no idea what this means.
The good thing about this is that the average American home is a lot more expensive than the average New York average, so if you work from home you should be able to get a good job.
