If you like classical music, you will love this piece of work by composer, Philip Glass.
It is a piece of work that seems to have a lot going for it. First and foremost, Philip Glass has said that it’s the most complicated piece of music he’s ever written and that it’s the most difficult piece of music he’s ever written. The technical difficulty with the piece is in creating this layered soundscapes. The reason for this is that you have a lot of complex layers of music (in the video above, there are 15 instruments played simultaneously in a single take).
In other words, the video above is a single take with all the instruments playing simultaneously. It is very difficult to get all the instruments playing at the same time, especially when you have 15 layers of music, but luckily this composer has taken steps to handle this. The video above shows the composer composing at the same time that each of his layers is performing in the video. In fact, there are three pieces of music playing at the same time in the video above.
If you’ve ever used a piece of software that allows you to compose music at the same time as you’re watching the video, you’ll know how to do this. The composer in the video above is using some incredibly cool technology called DSP (Digital Signal Processing). DSP is used across a great many technologies, including computers, mobile phones, and now video. DSP is used to process the audio signal from a video and put it into the form of a waveform.

In the case of Deathloop, this means we’re in for a mixed experience. We are not going to be the first people to put the pieces together. The original author of the music has been paid a flat fee to complete the project, yet we are not the only ones that are going to see the video. We are going to have to rely on our own creativity and our own skill as composers to write the music that will be used within the game.
We know that this will not be an easy job, and it will be a lot of work for us to do it justice. It’s going to be a real challenge to get it down as the game sounds. It’s going to take a lot of time and effort, but we’re really excited about the opportunity.
