A good social media manager also needs to be able to know how to use all of the various tools that they have to create content that is relevant to their audience. Facebook has a lot of tools to help them increase the number of people they reach, as well as a lot of tools that help them manage their audience and interact with them. Twitter has a ton of tools as well, and you’ll need to know how to use them.

In the past, social media assistants have tended to become like a hotshot who can’t stop talking about herself. Today, more and more companies are looking for people who can help them manage their employees and can’t stop talking about how great they are. In the beginning, this might seem like an odd thing to want, but I can’t think of a job I’d rather have.
