BMG handles some of the licensing for artists like Britney Spears, who is listed under the “Britney Spears” label. The artists that BMG licenses are listed under many different companies, for example, as “Britney Spears (Singles)”, “Britney Spears (Albums)”, etc.
Once you have the license, it will be very easy to sell your music to other companies. When you get the license, the music is transferred to the BMG music company. The royalties are then divided between the music company and the artist. For example, when Britney Spears sings a song called “All I Want for Christmas Is You,” the song is licensed to BMG.
