By I’ve known actress from very humble beginnings. I’ve worked with them from the beginning of their careers to their current positions. I always say, “I’m going to make things up.” I have no idea if that is possible, but I do know I’m a realist. You either have talent or you don’t. You have to make a living first.
The thing is, you never know about actors. Ive known a few great actresses who I think would be great in my new film, but Ive never had any luck hiring them for other roles. I know actresses I like, but I just dont know if they are actors (or actresses).

It doesn’t seem that Hollywood has really taken the idea of hiring actors seriously enough. The fact is most actors I’ve ever worked with either didn’t seem to have much interest or even knew anything about acting beyond the basics of how to look good and be a good actor.
I think it is because Hollywood thinks that actors are only as good as the star, that the star is their only source of income. Sure, the star can afford to do commercials, but they only get to do commercials if they are on the top of the box office. They can’t afford to do commercials if they are not in the top twenty.
The problem with this notion is that most actors don’t care about the box office. In fact, the reason most actors seem to be interested in acting is because they’ve been doing it for years. When you are on the set of a new film or TV show you are doing a lot of research. Sometimes you have to do it for free, but you have to do it to keep yourself in the entertainment business.
For actors to truly care about the box office, they need to be in the top ten, but they also need to be in the top five. That means they have to be on the top of at least one of the categories they have been in the industry for over ten years. Most actors dont have that luxury because theyve been doing it for years.
As a general rule, actors have to be in the top five in at least two different categories. Actors that have been working for years are more likely to have already made it in the top ten, so it’s hard to know if they’re “old school” or “new school,” but they are more likely to have been in the top five in at least two categories.
Actors who are in the top ten in at least one category might be the ones who are most likely to have been in the top five in at least one category. That way you know youre working with someone who’s been around for a long time, but you dont have to worry about getting stuck on the new age act because youre already in the top five in at least two categories.
