For example, a player who’s playing Bloodshot (the new book) can always take out a Visionary who can be a great friend of his. That’s not your whole game.
Deathloop is very much an FPS game, but I have to say that the gameplay feels as fun as it looks. There’s a lot of combat, which has a nice flow to it, and you feel like you’re playing the part of a cop or a soldier every time you shoot someone. You can play it like a first-person shooter and enjoy its stealthy combat as well, but it’s so much more.
There are a lot of mechanics you can add in Deathloop to make a game feel more like a FPS. You can make it feel more like a shooter, like a movie, or as a simple game, like a story. But that stuff is only as real as its mechanics. It’s not going to get any real-world feel in a game like Deathloop.
Well the mechanics of Deathloop are like so many of the others; they are there in the game file and you have to find them and apply them. It’s a very deliberate design choice to make every part of the game be a gunfight in a very unforgiving environment. The game is made to have bullets literally flying everywhere, so that the only way to avoid being shot is to have your gun in your hands and aim at the person you’re trying to shoot.

While the game is really about dodging bullets, the game is also about the people shooting at you. In this way, the game reminds me a lot of the work on the game called The Last of Us, which was a shooter, but also about the people shooting at you from behind.
